Picnic on the quarry beach

Stick around after your session. Pack a cooler — sand, shade, reservable cabanas and calm water for little ones who'd rather wade than ride the inflatables.

Local tip: Beach umbrellas help — there's not a ton of natural shade.

Deland Park & Sheboygan Lakefront

Ten minutes east of the quarry. Long stretch of Lake Michigan sand, playground, lighthouse views and the famous Sheboygan riverwalk. Perfect easy afternoon stop.

Local tip: Free parking, public restrooms, and a working pier kids love to walk.

The Great Lakes premier surf shop and longest running. Eos Surf Shop is a must see one of kind shop with everything under the sun and more, yes you can surf in Sheboygan on Lake Michigan!

Local tip: Bring quarters — meters along 8th are short and cheap.

Above & Beyond Children's Museum

Indoor backup plan if Lake Michigan weather turns. Hands-on exhibits geared to ages 1–10, right downtown.

Local tip: Great rainy-day pivot — most aqua park weather refunds rebook for tomorrow.

Bookworm Gardens

Free, story-themed botanical garden built around kids' books. Calm, shady, and stroller-friendly — a nice wind-down after a high-energy morning at the quarry.

Local tip: Plan 45–60 min. Bring a favorite book to spot in the gardens.
